Maybe Cybertruck sales will recover and become the best selling truck in America

The problem with the CT is that they had a really cool plan with cast cold rolled steel that for whatever reason didn't materialize. When it didn't they made a normal truck with glued on metal. The end product also cost more and had less range and had reliability issues.
I'm hoping V2 fixes everything but there's a real chance they'll just abandon the whole thing.

lol bro they’re going to cancel it this year guaranteed. They have no choice. They sold 6k worldwide in Q1

Look at Rivian sales and realize that 6k per quarter (or 24k/year) isn't the end of the world. But they're definitely going to have to iron out the kinks if they want sales to increase.

You only notice them because they look ridiculous. They’ve only sold 46k units since the Cybertruck’s debut. Ford literally sells that many F150s every month but you don’t notice them because they’re so common and don’t look like dumpsters with headlights.

For daily driving they're far superior. You charge them by plugging them in 1-2x a week overnight. No gas stations is great. Their only disadvantage is that charging on long trips is inferior to gas stations but most people worry about that every several months and many families have 2 cars anyway, with the second one being an ICE car they can take on those trips if they prefer.
The other benefit is significantly reduced maintenance. No oil changes, timing belt bs, far fewer brake pad changes, etc. Basically just windshield wiper fluid and tires.

They're not really better, they're just not much worse but also cheaper.

The Cybertruck is what happens when Elon involves himself in product design instead of letting the engineers who built the company come up with new products

Ime EVs are superior to ICEs in every respect except for the occasional time you have to refuel/recharge on a long road trip, particularly if it’s cold.
Other than that, every part of driving an EV is superior. Better acceleration, braking, handling, responsiveness, driving down mountains, recharging in your garage, brakes outlast the vehicle, low noise. I can even charge my car using my solar panels, so I’m not tied into some bullshit global supply chain just to drive my kids to baseball. Now that I’m out, I would never go back to an ICE.

To be fair,
CR, and the worst part is that all of these shitty Tesla's (which often end up developing problems down the line -- ICE vehicles never have that happen to them) also come with this gay "FSD" bullshit that actually isn't perfect and occasionally even causes accidents (again, something that never happens with real drivers operating ICE vehicles).
Just a shit product overall. No wonder they're deeply unpopular and nobody actually buys them.

To be fair,
Article's thesis: "Tesla's very existence is now in critical danger" (literally in the article's URL)
*Checks current TSLA stonk price*
*Double checks current TSLA stonk price*
*Checks one year historical stonk trajectory*
*Double checks that as well, just to be sure... wtf am I missing here?*
Damn. I mean, who am I to argue with this brilliant assessment carried out by some random shitlib Boomer journalist who clearly hates Musk (other recent hits of his include the withering "Tesla Seems Doomed If Musk Stays, And Sunk If He Leaves" assessment from a few weeks ago), even if the wider global financial market completely disagrees with him and tons of people all around the world are willing to wager staggering amounts of money that he's dead wrong.... I'm sure it will all be over for Felony Musky and his shitty company veddy veddy soon, exit all exposed positions!
lmao

cr they can just replace declining car sales with sales of stock. the margins are way higher anyway.

To be fair,
Shit... if only we had a way of comparing my track record of making prescient financial calls on XO over the last decade vs. your (some random faggot shitlib kike Pumo who intentionally avoids having any traceable poasting history) track record on that front.
If only!
Oh well... but anyway, I'm sure I'm wrong about this topic and you're correct as always. Tesla is doomed!

To be fair,
Sorry man my computer doesn't work plus I'm dead broke, but the point here is that you should just remember that I was aggressively pushing BTC back in 2012, ETH in 2017, TSLA in 2018, and SOL in 2020.
Now if only I had actually bought some of those assets myself back then when I spending a bunch of free time talking them up on the internet! Grrrrr...

To be fair,
I mean sure I have no doubts that Elon could tighten some things up, but it literally doesn't matter on a larger timescale because in 10 years, 20 year olds won't even really think of Tesla as "a car company" any more than Zoomers today think of Apple as "a computer company" (even though Tesla will still print money selling tons of cars just like Apple still prints money selling tons of laptops).
That's what's so crazy about all of this. Tesla *already* has a trillion dollar valuation in 2025, and I think the chances are excellent that they haven't yet rolled out a single unit of the line of products that will eventually come to define their enduring global legacy in the eyes of posterity. Tesla today = Apple pre-iPod/iPhone. I think most signs suggest that prediction is objectively likely to come true. (All bets are off if Elon dies or becomes incapacitated, however.)
Pumos can laugh all they want at that claim... and while they're laughing, they can also man up and own their SHIT PURE SHIT track record of opposing me on a bunch of prescient speculative investment calls over the last decade and a half, all while missing out on multiple "generate generational wealth" opportunities and instead choosing to stay poor forever. But hey, they aggressively called me "a fucking retard" like 10,000 times on the internet instead of just clicking a few computer buttons and loading up on BTC/ETH/TSLA/SOL back when it was all dirt cheap... so I guess when you REALLY think about it, that makes them the TRUE winners here. ;)
