Voting against your own party on the "Rule" allowing consideration of a bill on the floor is a much stronger form of opposition than voting against the bill itself. The fact that Johnson can't even pass the Rule suggests that the BBB as passed by the Senate is dead, unless Trump can browbeat a bunch of people. |

Russia is advancing, but since the start of the year they've captured the equivalent of half of Rhode Island. It has been clear for a very long time that this war is going to end in an ambiguous result which is not a clear victory for either side. Russia will probably get the rest of the Donbas eventually, but they won't cross the Dnieper to threaten Odessa and they won't take Kiev.
