My daughter is the tallest girl in her class and taller than most of the boys...

my husband's family is german though and his sisters are like 5'9"....my female cousin is 6'1" (and my biological aunt is 6'3") so i have some dormant tall genes as well
my bio aunt (6'3") married a dude who is 6'5" and their daughter (my second cousin?) ended up 6'4"...not flame.

most of the time, in childhood, girls grow faster/earlier than boys, and then boys catch up when puberty hits.
anecdotal, but i will still share: i was the tallest kid in my class from kindergarten until 9th grade, when i stopped growing.
i remember in middle school specifically our basketball team had 3 girls that were taller than any of the boys on the boys basketball team.
im 5 9. my mom is 5 6 and my dad is 6 2.
i dont think you have anything to worry about re: your dotter. i doubt she'll be freakishly tall. |

make sure she's always enrolled in dance, tumbling, diving, ice skating, or something like that- a sport that involves her wearing a leotard or something similar. and make sure she stays lean. dont body shame her, just make sure she eats healthy food and keep her in activities like these. she'll be fine. |

she does swimming too (mainly just to learn the basics though) and she did skiing this winter as well. my husband loves winter sports so she'll prob be in skiing forever.
i'll see if we have diving around here |

For a tall girl volleyball seems cr. We always had really good teams in highschool and the girls were pretty and popular. Well one of the coaches did divorce his wife and married an 18 year old former player. So amazing they found love completely after she graduated. |

Tall girls are usually still desired by many men but they demand men who are taller than them in heels so often something like 6’5”+. There are very few such men (and those men can date any woman) so women with these high standards have trouble dating. The tall women could just lower their demands and date average height men.
Short men are utterly unwanted by anyone and could not just adjust their standards to get women. |
