Because Palestinian suffering helps them more (for example, Israel/US deliver aid and Hamas kills or beats up Palestinians who try to get it from them) and they've lured in the Leftists of the world in hook, line and sinker via the oppressor/oppressed settler-colonial Marxist theory, who do a lot of the work for them.
The Arab States are well aware of what they are doing and have called on Hamas to surrender, but Westerners are so confused why would they stop or release hostages at any point? The France and UK are about to recognize Hamas as a state, lol.
Israel may win the war, but the PR is a disaster unfortunately. |

Israel started to see PR as a lost cause for a number of reasons 3. Moder arab diplomats have better English. Arabic is a language full of poetic embellishments and flattery so it works well 4. Israelis are more provincial than the Arab elites |
