This is akin to buying a car new when it's in the last year of it's cycle.

slightly worse specs, but you get a slimmer computer with 17" of 1080P, and it should be sufficient for what your gaming needs are for the next 3 years, and this is probably the more durable laptop, comes in at under 1,000 with that coupon i showed u above.
you can upgrade the harddrive, and RAM as well, to make it more similar to the specs of the computers u listed and you'll still save a few hundred bucks and have a superior quality laptop. |

intel's coming out with a new chipset next year.
i like the first system but the big knock on it would be that the display resolution is low.
if you're playing diablo and sc2 (and heart of swarm soon), this sytem will easily meet your needs (i'd go with the first system i picked the dv6). |

EDIT: if you're getting the SSD with the laptop don't, you can get it for way cheaper elsewhere, it's a rip off to get that add on. |
