Everyone talked as if the take away was "A murderer goes free" or "celebrity buys acquittal" or even "the race card". But the real takeaway was that impartial justice (even as an ideal) is a white, western, Christian, male, historical phenomenon.

What's crazy to me about OJ is his blood was all over the crime scene and the defense argued that it it was planted there which is so implausible even benzo would agree it's impossible. This would never happen today without serious chain of custody mishandling.
