The maxi competition on the last quarter of the movie was too silly and over the top. Otherwise great. Loved the golf cameos.
I really liked how they shifted the villains from waspy elitist golfers to tech bro jerkoffs trying to destroy tradition. At one point happy says “I cant believe I’m the one defending tradition”. I think a lot of older millennials and gen x’ers feel that way. It captured the zeitgeist well. |
