So if rumour is true and he tried robbing with a machete then got done over for it, this is the easiest Darwin award ever minted

Yes someone is dead and that is tragic for his family. But karma is real, you steal from hard working individuals, taken from their family but you deserve what you get. Just remember every action has a consequence and every consequence is because of an action. He chose his path and that path lead to death. Choose wisely

I think if my child was robbed at machete point then I would see red its ok with hindsight to say the father shouldn't have done it but he did and theres no going back. It's sad a young lad has died but it didn't need to happen if he hadn't taken someone else's property by slashing a poor boy with a machete. No winners here sadly
1d
Stewart Greatbanks
If he hadn't of been on a stolen scooter / bike he would still be alive, simple choice.

Everyone's clearly misunderstanding, he must of politely asked the boy he was "robbing" to have a look at his newest kitchen cutlery as he was planning to cook a meal with it! Then he got a call from the nuclear power plant he works at (he actually owns it) that it was melting down, so he politely asked for the boys bike.

Let’s not forget this lad hasn’t just nicked this bike out of someone’s back garden .. he was already a menace to society terrorising his neighbourhood and wearing a balaclava, he attacked the young lad with a machete slashing him several times then stole his bike. He would have never become a reformed character.. he would have got a lot worse. If he’d have done that to my child I would have gone after him aswell. This can’t be looked at as he made a mistake .. a mistake is nicking a bar of chocolate .. not what he did!!!

It is very sad , but this lad won't be the last I fear. Electric scooters and bikes are in my opinion a danger to all road users and pededrrians (they are not toys). Everyone who has one should have to take a test like the highway code and be issued with a licence that they are legally bound to produce on demand by the police. But if people take one without consent of the owner I am afraid that there is a high risk of unwanted, serious consequences.

To carry a machete around with the intent of harm and to steal by the act of violence is absolutely disgusting.. what if the kid tried to fight him off and was killed by the kid with the machete.. and then the kids dad did this.. how would you all feel .
What if this kid got the bike then went on to attack an elderly person and steak from them resulting in a heart attack or stroke.. yes these are what if's. But the truth is this boy was a violent thug, who used violence and tbh the justice system wouldn't have stepped in he would always be given a warning a curfew or a tag but his behavior would always have been this way and possibly gotten worse.

It's amazing on here the amount of people trying to dumb the incident down. No matter happened with the machete the lad was a thug and I doubt very much if he was the angel some are prepared to paint him as. But I see this as the problem that is endemic in today's society people caring more for the perpetrator than the victim always trying to make the bad un out to be an angel. I don't know what the answer is to this behaviour but I will put my money on the home life situation, was his father or grandfather still around because it seems like that could be a contributing factor in the incident.
