Robert Tyre Jones ("Bobby Jones") is a celebrated golfer (possibly the GOAT) who also designed golf courses and was born in 1902. They apparently both had a hand in founding/designing Augusta National.

as for augusta bobby jones was founder(w/clifford roberts) and designed the original version with alister mackenzie. perry maxwell made renovations soon after that
robert trent jones is mostly responsible for the look of the 16th hole. it didnt have that pond before he got to it in the late '40s. he also changed 11 and 12 a bit iirc |

rees otoh has his name on atlantic and the bridge which hold up pretty well in a tough neighborhood |
