India, whose economy now stands at $4.3 trillion, receives about $30 billion each year in remittances from Indian professionals working in the US on H-1B visas. “But the benefits don’t end there,” Sidharth noted—emphasizing that these skilled workers are critical for filling essential STEM roles in the American economy.
