Tesla has a huge and expanding stand alone storage megapack battery business that is best in class. It’s dependent on solar/wind projects as the battery enables power to be stored and deployed during off peak times. These projects are heavily dependent on the investment tax credit.
Elon doesn’t want to publicly say this is a major issue since these credits aren’t popular among MAGA so he’s attacking the main weakness of the bill (adding literal trillions to the deficit). |
