I remember you mentioned in another thread that you wondered whether UFOs might be a purely psychic phenomenon. I didnt really understand what you meant, but now I have seen multiple people express that view. Can you expand a little on what you meant and why you think that?

Just saw this. I was taking a cue from Carl Jung's essay on UFOs. Here's a summary https://jungiancenter.org/jung-on-signs-in-the-skies-a-jungian-perspective-on-ufos/ The famous essay itself is worth reading. He suspected that UFOs were a psychic phenomenon, and was disappointed when radar returns popped up. My view is that it's not all one thing. It's a mix of mistaken identification, psychological artifacts, misinformation, outright hoaxes, and military/commercial vehicles. I can't exclude the possibility of real live alien technology, but it's the least likely explanation. UFOs have become a myth structure. Humans seem wired to want to believe in gods from the sky. It may be based on some ancient memory or perhaps a prognostication. Or maybe it's just "stuff." In any event, it's interesting and I am a sucker for UFO click bait.
