Date: September 15th, 2025 8:16 PM Author: Paralegal Pyotr i didn't love the guy so i can't comment on the veracity of the quote. in the quote i did see he named Brown and Reid and a couple others, and while the mentioned all happened to be black (a dogwhistle, no doubt) these are all people not exactly known for the quality of their work content, michelle obama probably withstanding. jackson-brown in particular has been the second plane crashing into the supreme court's twin towers and neither her nor sotomayor really belong on the court. maybe barrett too for that matter. not a lib/con thing either as i'm a big fan of kagan and think she's one of the brightest on SCOTUS atm but AA/DEI policies have not been sending the black community's best to our rapidly eroding institutions. libs want to take the step of forcing an equality of outcome and promoting whoever's available from those communities vs doing the long and difficult process of holding dem governance over black communities responsible for decades of urban decay and negligent administration. when they're ready to do the latter i'm all for it but until then you're going to get these blustering conservative oafs taking a hammer to problems that require a scalpel and a microscope. the point i wanted to get across was the reaction tweet there, which i see happen all too often, and not so much in the WWE style peaceful dialectical resolution manner that political feuding is supposed to take place in. |
