They never had a resurgence after the 90s. Most pop bands had some kind of comeback even if it’s an ironic one like Creed and Korn. But you never hear Gen Z or alpha kids talking about their music or using their songs in clips. What happened?

There are quite a few Gen X bands out there with young fans like Deftones and Slowdive. Maybe it’s the shoegaze sound
