I’m mulching flower/plant beds at the front and side of my house. They’re About 550-600 square feet total. If I did all the beds it would be double. For aesthetics and to prevent weeds in equal measure. |

Get cedar it will keep weeds down the best. Leaf mulch will encourage weeds but is good for soil. Go way thicker than you'd think you need |

The cubic yards above I posted are less than that except for the southern hardwood.
