Date: August 27th, 2017 4:59 AM Author: self-centered chad this was a slow-moving but entertaining film and character study. i did think that the last segment was a bit ham-handed, and we all knew where it was going, but the depiction of aging alcoholics was sympathetic but stern in a way that most films fail at capturing. it reminds me of sebastian's long decline in "brideshead revisited," but not quite so downbeat.
