If someone is turned into a paraplegic at a cross walk because an illegal hits them can't you only ask for the insurance companies, whether uninsured motorist policy or another, to tender the limits of like $25k? And only if they don't then you can say 'bad faith' or whatever and get them on the hook for any excess judgment?

One 5 mil verdict is from a 15k policy where they denied liability despite a favorable police report and the defendant admitted fault at the scene

Others are massive policies

How do you handle deposition questions where your expert witness is asked if your firm had any hand in drafting/editing/revising their final expert report (which I assume you guys must do)? Do you object? Do they just lie?
