worth noting, given that the libs are more lockstep than the cons.
Kagan wrote the opinion tossing Mexico's mass tort liability suit against US gun manufacturers.
Jackson wrote the opinion tossing the Sixth Circuit's imposition of special burdens on members of majority groups suing for discrimination.
Sotomayor wrote the opinion striking down WI's singling out of just the Catholic Charities for ineligibility under WI's religious exemption for its unemployment compensation program.

It is kind of odd that scotus still/currently feels the need to play the traditional politics of pandering to libs (represented here by not only adopting narrower-than-necessary conservative opinions in order to achieve 9-0 decisions, but allowing libs to write them).
In the era of TRUMP you think they'd have that covered by the fact that the administration is losing like 90% of its cases and is vocally MAF at them for it.
