Uber from the upper east side to the east village was $150. It was taking too long so we grabbed a cab and it cost $43. $193 to go 4 miles.

is there some NYC trick why taking a cab would be quicker than the uber you are already sitting in?

I assumed he grabbed a random cab while waiting for his uber to show up but was charged anyways. I would just cancel the uber and dispute the charge but people voluntarily entering nyc are kind of dumb

You wouldn’t be charged more than $5 as long as you didn’t take it.

I often order Ubers if it’s raining and cancel them if I can get a cab which is way cheaper.

to begin with you're a retard for booking an uber for that amount when you can just not do that
