The Bloober guys are Silent Hill fans, and they remade the game out of a deep-seated appreciation for it. There is not a single Konami exec who gives a goddamn about Silent Hill other than how much profit it can make them. SH2's success will compel them to follow Capcom's lead with their Resident Evil remakes, and they know damn well that it must be good or else OYT will bring Ruin upon them. |
