combat frenzy resonance charged staff ice striking, just completely bonkers, 3,500 dps at 42 early act 3, shredding just absolutely cranking bosses with tempest bell, talking like 100-0 in 3-5 seconds , its almost too easy and I miss the thrill of barely making it out of a boss.

currently in act 3 in the jungle fighting incas or whatever, my guy actually has an insane chestpiece that looks like a piece of crusader armor with the st george cross on it, quarterstaff w charged looks like im darth maul or some shit,. insane

I finished the campaign but I just can't get into the "endgame" all you do is grind maps over and over. I don't know how people can be into that unless you're a pothead or autistic

then i realize theyre on their 200th char and trying to do some weird build thats optimized for "juicing maps" which I can only assume are NG+ procedurally generated challenges stuff that ties in with the whole game economy and the market etc. no idea why that would be appealing in a seasonal/league game?

i made a poison pathfinder instead and it's pretty fun. wasn't initially attracted to the archetype but the gameplay loop is actually pretty enjoyable. about to finish act 2

i'm playing SSF so far which i think is the cr way to play these games

Started trading for the 1st time.

Currency is actually pretty easy to get doing Early maps. Got all my "resistances" capped to 75% just through gear I traded very easily for currency I had accumulated

Its all on a barter system so you can trade like 100 of your rubles for 1x of a better currency then buy starter gear to help you survive the endgame

Now im doing "maps" which seems to be the "real game"

You basically have to grow your character into an absolute throughput monster to survive the maps, which feel like just a continuation of the campaign, you use these waystones (similar to "mythic+ keystones" if you are familiar with WoW) to up the ante on a "map" and it adds all these challenging modifications to the monsters and environment, it just gets progressively harder so you are forced to find ways to trade up for better itemized gear while balancing throughput with survivability

Feel like its really clicking. Got all my resists capped at 75% . Really clearing maps with the scaling on my lightning arrows. Bullying the bosses down in like 25 seconds just absolutely hitlering it all down.

Enjoying the trading stuff now and finding strong items *( relatively to what I have been used to)

Will probably try to see all the unique bosses and wont try to juice big t15 delis or whatever
