You get in a time machine and go back to the start of the baseball season a couple weeks ago. You'll be randomly assigned to a high-A team.
You are guaranteed at least 2 plate appearances per game (not counting rain outs) for as many games as you want over the course of the season, provided you're healthy enough to play and you play a position while you're in the lineup. You can't DH.
Every time you safely reach base, you get $50k.
Every time you score a run, you get $100k. |

My strategy: be REALLY obnoxious and disrespectful to the opposing pitcher and team every day, and crouch super low in my stance, and get way back in the box and intentionally take really looping swings to hit the catcher's mitt and cop some catcher's interference -> I'll definitely get plunked a bunch and can get some walks. Plus that will mean the top of the order is coming up so I'll undoubtedly score on some HRs and stuff.
I might not cop $2 million but it would be 180 |
