I’m sick of the "Get Gud" One-Upping Gatekeeping Mentality of Gamers

You see this on reddit and especially xo. “Gamers” bragging about their prowess at “video Games,” constantly citing “difficult” Games that they “beat” when they were 12years old etc.
These people display a sense of superiority (elitism) and may be suggesting that those who can't achieve what they did are not "real" Gamers (a form of Gatekeeping).
Another trait of these Gamers is constantly trying to outdo another Person's story or achievement. These dismissive attitudes that any difficulty a player faces is simply due to their own lack of skill, often coming from Gamers who see themselves as highly skilled but who may have not achieved their self-perceived “elite” Gaming skills.
