The famous separated triplet stories are rare and publicized because they are striking. It's not statistically generalizable. They're anecdotes w/ PhDs attached.
Socioeconomic convergence is also way overstated. When people say "same class" or "same type of work" they mean that they are all white collar or all professional or UMC.
