people are making extravagant claims about AI ushering in an age of Full Prosperity and abundance or whatever.

what am I missing?

AI can't be your domicile or your kids' orthodontist. what exactly is it going to do, other than eliminate jobs and be an infotainment product?

Nothing as far as I can see. It should be(and probably could) dramatically improving the accuracy and cost of major systems, most notably healthcare, but it won’t.

The white collar economy is based on the distribution of liability

Some cuck will still need to review and sign off on it with their license and insurance

this was never going to happen until AI could operate in the real world, i.e., robots that can drive things, build things, deliver things, etc. Despite Elon Musk's extravagant claims, I don't see any of that happening to scale for at least another 10-15 years, which means most xo poasters would be collecting social security by then anyways.
