There is growing recognition that has emerged over the last few years that these instruments are criminally underrated and are of equal quality to basses that cost several thousand dollars.
This has been reflected in the prices already. Basses that used to cost a few hundred on the secondary market are now going for > $1,000. My cirrus cost $500 on eBay in 2011. I could get $3,000 for it now.
I think this is also going to be true for the dynabass and millennium series. You’ve all been warned. This is the equivalent of exeunt telling you to buy ethnic 2016.
