To schedule a Twitter post, compose your tweet on the X web app, then click the calendar icon at the bottom of the composer. Select your desired date and time from the pop-up window, click "Confirm," and finally click "Schedule" to save your scheduled post. Note that this native scheduling feature is generally only available on desktop.
Step-by-Step Guide to Scheduling a Tweet
Open X (Twitter) on Desktop: Log in to your account on the X (formerly Twitter) website using a desktop web browser.
Start a New Tweet: Click the "Post" button or the text box that says "What's happening?" to open the tweet composer.
Write Your Tweet: Type out the content of your tweet.
Find the Calendar Icon: Look for the calendar icon at the bottom of the composer, usually near the emoji icon.
Choose Your Date and Time: A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to select the specific date and time for your tweet to be published.
Confirm Your Selection: Click the "Confirm" button within the pop-up window.
Schedule the Post: Click the blue "Schedule" button to finalize and save your scheduled tweet. Your tweet is now scheduled and will be posted at the chosen time.

Most big social media accounts scheduled posts. It occasionally bites them in the ass when they have something scheduled and then some big world event happens. Lots of brands got blasted for posting BAU advertising and promotions and stuff when Floyd went down.
Most social media teams now have a big red “STOP” button that can be mashed to hold content across all of their platforms and their webpage’s newsroom.
