$400 initial consultation
$175 per hour after that with a 30 hour minimum
Below are example project scopes and design hours to provide for reference:
• Small bathroom / powder room design: 15-18 hours
• Medium / larger bathroom design: 20-30 hours
• Kitchen remodel: 30-40 hours
• Living room furnishing / styling project (excludes cabinetry design): 20-30 hours
• Bedroom furnishing / styling project: 15-20 hours
Oh and if you get her to buy furniture using her discounts she marks that up too (but you won't pay above retail hehe)

any guesses to how she will respond to my reply?
Thanks so much for sending that over — I really appreciate your time and the thoughtfulness behind your approach.
To be transparent, I’m working with a smaller budget (more in the range of $1,500), and I’m really just looking for help with selecting tiles, fixtures, and maybe a few furniture pieces — not any layout changes or a full design package.
Totally understand if that’s outside the scope of what you usually take on, but I really love your style and figured it was worth asking in case there’s a scaled-down way to collaborate.
Either way, I hope we can stay in touch — I’d love to work together in some capacity, now or in the future.

never pay for an interior designer unless you are Legit Rich
they are almost entirely useless and a complete scam and waste of money

Tbh I've only tried it with chat gpt but I've heard there are other specialized ones now that could be better
Just treat it like a human interior designer. Tell it that it's an interior designer in your prompt with whatever personality traits or tastes you want. Upload pics of the room you want designed and some inspiration pics, just like you would with a human interior designer. It can try to find products to match or you can give it specific products to render
In general AI can do any Computer Stuff better than most humans man. Like if you actually think about it, does it really seem like a Woman would be better at interior designing than an AI trained with billions of images and access to the whole internet? Hell no lmao

I'm lolling at this idea.
*gets Asian escort who gives a killer massage and makes the whole place look like a large, trashy Kyoto apartment*
*gets Latina escort who is great in bed and makes the whole place look like a cartel boss palace in Mexico*
*gets E. Euro escort who is absolutely stunning but makes the place look like Donald Trump's residences*
Honestly? All of those are probably better choices than paying the interior designer who will make the place look sterile and trendy and where you'll feel like you lit the money on fire.

UPDATE:
To fall within your budget, I could do a virtual design consultation (flat fee $300) or an in person design consultation (flat fee $450) to help select some tiles, fixtures etc. This would be a one time commitment on my part, and we could spend 90 minutes together answering any questions or selecting items for your design. Basically you can use the time however you would like to spend it. With my current work schedule / summer schedule the soonest I have time for this would be August 14th. Let me know if you have any questions about this service.
Seems pretty CR, I might do this imho.

I have a gay guy design student who we paid like $250 per hour in NYC. He helped us choose paint colors, cabinet pulls, rugs, lighting fixtures, lamps, tables, chairs, wallpaper, coffee tables, baby furniture, beds, art, “objets,” and dressers. It was totally worth it, and he ended up saving me money by finding excellent vintage pieces through Chairish and local dealers. I think he ended up costing us like $5K which was well worth it to be able to make good decisions on all these things. (I am confident our apartment will sell for a higher price and faster if we ever need to sell it due to his design decisions.) But this was like 10 years ago, so rates may have gone up.
Don’t let them do a ton of work on their own. Send them design inspiration on Pinterest and say make me a room that looks like this. They can then find similar looking pieces in your price point. And he can tell you what “mistakes” from that design to avoid and how to make it not clash with what’s already in your space or what else you are planning to do.
