He's not wrong here though.
NK is barely a threat in reality,
and not many cities in the world you can reliably go out at 3 in the morning alone without fear of getting robbed/murdered/raped.
In terms of everyday safety, Seoul definitely is world class.
I wouldn't dare walk through Skid Row at night- but Seoul a single woman can go out alone without fear of getting raepd like St. Louis or Baltimore

japan and singapore are extremely safe in terms of government stability and crime, but less safe from natural disasters.

Singapore.
Extremely low crime. No earthquakes. No hurricanes. Very unlikely to be involved in any war. Public health is good.

To be isolated from pandemic risks, you have to be extremely far off the grid given the modern system of travel and the complete unwillingness of first world countries to cut off people from disease ridden areas. Even someplace like Svalbard or other even more isolated island like Ellesmere has contact with the outside world with some regularity. And in those places you have polar bears and a non-negligible chance of dying from exposure, or just getting sick and not being able to get treatment.
I would go with somewhere in western Montana. Mountains make it easier to hide/defend and there is not much there that is deadly (maybe a bear of two) and you are still close enough to civilization when you need it.

Reykjavik.
Violent crime is almost unheard of.
Isolated and shall enough to make pandemic risk small.
I think there's a small chance you could get volcanoed, but I think with modern science you'd have enough warning to evacuate.
