It is quite peaceful in the middle of the night. I feel calm but slightly too alert to fall back asleep despite several attempts. I’m just sitting here waiting for my normal 6 AM wake up time at this point.
This is unusual for me as I easily get around eight hours of sleep virtually every single night because I exercise for about two hours nearly every single day and pass out easily by bedtime. Yesterday and last night were no different.
What’s the positive of this? I get to ease into my morning instead of rushing through various morning tasks right after I wake up.
I haven’t gotten this little sleep in several years, so I’m not sure how I’ll feel later today. But at the moment there’s this pleasant calmness. No emails, no videos, no chores, etc.

This happens to me too often. I’ve been up since like 3:30. Watching sports center on mute in kitchen and trying to not wake everyone else up.
