When I was there, 50K was all in, tution and room/board, I have no idea what tuition is now, but I doubt its 50K without dorms, as I'm not that old.
Like I said, I was far from rich at NYU, but financial aid and parental help made it possible for me at least. |

Either way, if you're middle-class you don't pay most of the Columbia tuition or housing. My senior year I paid around $800 in tuition+housing for the entire year. Nowadays if your family makes less than six figures, you go practically for free. NYU's financial aid is nowhere near as generous. |

Berkeley has a backdoor option for CA community college students, so a lot of TTT people are there. UVA is the only credited public school.
