Goddamn brother that’s 15 guitars by my count. That’s double my collection even when I count the child sized guitars I have.

I’m curious about the custom shop one. Can you tell me its unique characteristics?

The Les Paul? R8? First of all it's a work of art. Like staring at a piece of amber and every slight bit you turn it it loos different. The finish is simply awesome.

Just feels lie quality. Interior wiring is tight as fuck.

Sounds different than my other Les Paul. Both good but different. The custom shop might be a tad creamier.

It's a work of art. Bought it for "cheap" from a starving artist in December. On Facebook marketplace.

I looked at thousands of LP custom shops IRL and on reverb for years. Like it's what I did. When I went to lunch several times a week. Had a good idea of the finish I wanted. The one I got was "cheap" but also in the top tier of my favorite finish - basically a washed aged sunburst with tons of flame. Saw a gorgeous R9 custom shop the other day at a store and had zero desire for it because of what I have

Maybe one day I'll get a Les Paul custom black beauty but not any time

Soon. I'm guitared out

It’s funny how each guitar feels so different even if on paper there are similarities. Each has its own personality that brings out different things in you.

Like I said, my EBMM Axis Super Sport might be my nicest guitar. Certainly close to my Les Paul custom shop. The neck is simply a pleasure to touch. Just quality all around and sounds great. Beautiful guitar

I’ve played the Wolfgang’s in the store, they are fine I guess

The EVH Frankenstein is the only superstrat I would consider of the EVHs. I got mine for $1000 from some redneck on Facebook marketplace. It’s my only guitar with a Floyd rose (other than my cheap Kramer). The evh is just fun as hell to play, great neck and frets, insanely high output pickup. It just makes you want to fucking rip. My most “Fun” guitar by a mile

And those plain color white or red Frankenstein are really cool too, basically the same guitar as the red striped Frankenstein model but cheaper

impressive collection. i'm mainly a Strat guy. a Les Paul Custom would be great for Randy Rhoads/Zakk Wylde/Jimmy Page stuff. I've always loved the look of the EBMM blonde or caramel color, whatever you call it. But the Frankenstein sounds fun. I like Vito Bratta and EVH

how often do you crank the deluxe reverb brother

also you took the original pickups out of a 60s sg to put in some pawn shop kramer? or do you mean its a 60s reissue

Deluxe reverb maybe once a week. I have an attenuator on it so I can really enjoy it. Also use my evebtide h90 with it

I play the hot rod deluxe a lot more tbh

The sg was a 60s reissue to be clear. And yes put Duncan pearly gates into it which I took out of my Les Paul when I upgraded the pickups on it

ok reissue that makes sense

why does the HRD get more use? because it has an effects loop? do you have stock speakers in these amps

I just really like the HRD, love the clean tone and it has a little more dirt than the DR. Just a great amp and I got it for $325. Also keep it in my living room so I am around it more, the DR is in another area.

Stock speakers on all. I’ve looked at switching them based on YouTube but afraid it will change the tone too much, like what they sound like as is
