A big reason mass shootings have exploded in the past 25 years is because so many cool-looking guns promote gun culture which ultimately increases sales and puts them in the hands of more people. States like Minnesota should pass laws that say fine, you can have your assault rifle 15s, but they must be make to look like a 19th century musket and be painted yellow or pink or purple or rainbow with flowers and bear the inscription “the owner of this rifle is a fag.” At a minimum this would have a non-zero effect on reducing the total number of mass shootings, but worst case is even if it doesn’t it would still piss off cons and punish them for being cunts who bear most of the responsibility for this mess.
