It has "I fix clogged drains" plastered all over the van as part of his company graphics. He also was wearing a company polo that says the same. I said (obviously joking) "hey do you happen to fix clogged drains?". And he genuinely responded "yes I do, are you in need of my services sir?"
He didn't get the joke at all. And I've hired this guy before too but I guess he didn't recognize me; so now I didn't know what to say. I said "uh yeah I have like 40 pipes clogged real bad at an office building I own and need a ton of plumbing done asap, i'll pay top dollar." He excitedy gave me his business card and I could see dollar signs in his eyes lol. The guy is a convicted sex offender btw but there aren't any other plumbers in town. |
