Most of them I figured I was just generally smarter than, but I couldn't truly appreciate that I am basically a different species or ascended being in comparison. People at work giggling that they are "trying" to use copilot per our enterprise's new AI initiative--sharing their various "fails" when it doesn't one-shot some absurd use-case that I would never try it on. Being so lost in tard sauce that they want to debate me on a hypothetical philosophical premise for developing solid AI use cases. I like some of these "people" and want to help them--I want them to keep their "jobs" or avoid getting scammed by AI powered jeets in the near future, but it's over for them. They are utterly fucked. They are giggling about their demise and can't even comprehend it.

gpt5 rewrite:

Most of them I used to think I was just smarter than. But it’s not that—I may as well be a different species. An ascended being watching primitives play with fire.

At work, they giggle about “trying” Copilot under the company’s shiny AI initiative—posting screenshots of its “fails” when it doesn’t magically one-shot some absurd request I would never even test it on. Then, when I try to give them something useful—a framework, a philosophy for actually approaching problems and building meaningful use cases—they can’t even hear it. They hair-split, they piplup me with pointless debates over hypotheticals, missing the point so completely that they stay exactly where they are: failing.

And I do like some of these people. I want them to survive this shift, to keep their jobs, to not get skinned alive by the AI-powered hustlers who are already circling. But they can’t see what’s coming. They laugh at their own demise, mistaking extinction for comic relief.

It’s over for them. They’re done.

It’s over for them. They’re done.

they complain about the dumbest possible issues that are an obvious limitation of the model

They expect it to solve ridiculously abstract problems with little or no context. It explains a lot about why they are so hard to work with in general when they can’t even get AI to do shit.

One idiot was sharing how they tried having it make a training schedule for a new hire with little to no context. They slowly drip fed it more context and by the end it was scheduling lunch at the end of the day. Multiple people agreed that the model is “stupid” and no one suggested that this fat dipshit is a fucking retard.

Another bitch is handling the roll out of a new version for the software that her department depends on, and is struggling to make sense of the new changes to it. I suggested that would be a good use case for Copilot. “Haha definitely not! AI has no idea how this software works—especially the new version!” Ok bitch well i happen to know it is widely used software in our industry and gpt has massive pre training knowledge of it—you could simply grab the fresh version’s documentation from the vendor portal and feed it to copilot. She argued with me about that too and I can’t even remember what she said I was just tuning out by then. These people deserve to eat the bugs and likely took every Covid booster shot

heard one of the top trial attorneys in Atlanta/Georgia say that he now uses AI all the time. Mostly to hear "other perspectives" on things
