i got a warning from one of those automated camera/speed traps. civil, no, points and no $ since it's a warning, but fuck that, i contested it.
just received the pdf from the state with all their 'evidence', including the calibration certificate. claude absolutely crushed it, even spotted that the signature date is 4 days after the daily log, which contradicts their affidavit, and a bunch of other stuff.
however, what surprised me was digging into the laser certification
- the address for the 'company' is a strip mall and there is no unit 112, ends at 111. there is a ups store, so maybe it could be a box there, but shady none the less.
- the person who signed the cert might not even exist irl...like, there's a linkedin, but the roles he's held are provably false (e.g. cfo of a public company...???), and a bunch of other fake af stuff like mit / stanford degrees, etc.
is it really possible the state uses radar guns that are certified from a complete scam of a company?
