Golden handcuffs in a way. You have almost infinite money for daily expenses like groceries, amazon binges and chill vacations, but you can’t really splurge on anything sick.
You have just enough money to think about making a real boy amount, but a razor thin margin for error if you screw it up.
You’re also at the exact amount where it becomes cozy and hard to motivate yourself to go that much harder.

New hypo. If you had $300 million liquid that generated +$12 million a year in passive income, what amount of the principal and income would you disclose to your spouse?
I think that I would acknowledge the existence of $50 million in assets and say that it produced ~$3 million of annual income. That seems like enough to keep her hands off the principal and the spending from go-broke-trying-to-billionaire territory.
