What does a conflict between Israel and Iran look like, assuming the U.S. does not immediately threaten to intervene on their behalf? How do the other gulf states respond? Is there even the slightest chance that the U.S. wouldn’t immediately intervene? I felt a bit silly even typing that.
Assume I have had zero interest in anything having to do with the Middle East before today and will have to rely heavily on Google maps and Grok to decipher your responses. Assume my interest level is that of a parent who has a son graduating from a military academy in 3 years.
