He probably meant 2K which is still imperceptible from 4K to 90% of end users
True 4K media on 120hz and >40in display is significantly more distinguishable but how often is anyone streaming true 4K or playing blu ray?
99% of the slop served over streaming apps looks like trash no matter what format they call it
