Our mortgage is at 6.49%. It's been really hard to find a refinancing window too. I could have done it earlier this year and gone down about 1%, but I hesitated because they were quoting me $7,000 and I had to get an appraisal and I was just like well, if I have to get an appraisal with less than 15 years on the loan, I'll just see if rates go down a bit more. I got burned by that thinking.
