Im not seeing it atm. This thing is aimed squarely at programming/Engineering. It’s like what we’ve already seen with offshoring from like 2000-present. In practice we’ll have 110 IQ Indians using AI to perform feats of Engineering. Everyone else, it just makes dumber but more knowledgeable. If you extrapolate out from other technologies like the internet, search, & etc and assume it’ll be The Same then this is the way things go. There are like 250 millennial professors and they make $28k. The ROI from firing some Gen X SWE making $580k and having 2.5 Indians using custom developed GPT replace him is just too high compared to this other crap. Same reason why software engineers and IT have been offshored for decades but no one has bothered to send HR Women who make $36,850 to India afaik

Jobs built around Billing like law and consulting will just try to continue status quo as long as possible btw imo. They rely on Eliteness and consulting has phenotype restrictions. So you can’t just disrupt the industry by being like “hey guys I hired Losers who use ChatGPT and they do the job better,” at least not right away.
