He should have come out and said he awarded his stupid keys wrong but that the keys are still a solid indicator. Instead, he went on cable news and yelled at people about how his keys are on point but the American people are stupid |

The keys are never wrong, but the Keymaker is flawed. When applied correctly Trump won the keys. Lichtman made a bunch of nonsensical deviations from the keys to pick Harris.
Some of the ones he awarded to Kamala were insane like no White House scandal and Trump isn't charismatic. Both of those should have gone the other way. The Biden dropout was a huge scandal. His baseline for judging charisma was is Trump beloved like Ronald Reagan? He should have said yes.
Then incumbency is muddy because he is a former President etc. Long term economy was not good for working people despite what NYT said. Lots of simple arguments why Trump won the keys. |
