But I loved it--and I'm not one of those guys who sucks the dick of every "important" American movie from the 1970s (I thought The Conversation was a boring SPS for example). And I know the ending is polarizing, but it works for me. |

But just lol at all those cops and feds going apeshit over 50 kilos, and these kingpins were only getting like 4 years in the slammer back then. Plus Gene Hackman fucks everything up in the end and pwns that FBI guy, and 2/3 of the suspects get away or escape conviction for any serious crime.
Plus NYC looks like SHIT in that movie. |

Bourne is using the Mini in ways that the people chasing him couldn't (going down alleys, down stairs, on the sidewalk, etc.). so it really shows his superior intelligence and training. music's good. you really want him to get away. it's just perfect and it actually serves a purpose. Also air conditioning was a factor. A lot of people didn’t have it (including my prole family). The longer the Film, the longer you were in Cool Air. |
