Palmtree Panic and Stardust Speedway are up there with anything. If you want tight, well-thought-out level design, go fuck yourself, only like 30% of Sonic levels have anything resembling that and Sonic CD is in keeping with that ratio. Like Sonic 1 though, it's over before you know it. |

This kid’s video is unintentionally hilarious btw - after sincerely crediting it with saving his life when he was suicidal in middle school (fair enough) he gives it a 9/10. “Saved my life. 9.” |

Lots of weird overly-vertical levels, and the Time Travel mechanic felt out of place. I mean just compare the final bosses, 2, 3&K have epic final bosses. Even 3's last boss was cool af. Best part of Sonic CD is the metal sonic section, the rest is totally forgettable imho. Also, no super sonic. |
