CR. It's a very tight market and very favorable to employers. Way more lawyers are looking to move (or out of work) than there are good jobs available.
A recruiter for a terribly mediocre in-house job seeking 12+ years experience told me they got 300+ applicants in the first few days, dozens of which came via referrals from current employees. If even 20% of those are quality candidates, that's 60+ quality candidates.
There is not much hiring, and the offers they're sending out match the imbalance between supply and demand.
