To illustrate that this hope is literally for everyone, the most vile, obnoxious and cruel tribe of humans to ever exist was chosen to produce the Savior, like the earth richly fertilized with shit produces wheat. That concluded the time and reason for choseness. “It is DONE” sayeth the Lord himself.

Thank you for participating in XOXO Theology Minute.

No BS, Jesus really is 180. It's like for all of history before Him, man was arguing about what God(s) wanted. Sacrificing goats (or people) to get a good harvest and all sorts of idolatrous shit. Then Jesus shows up and is like "love one another" and "don't be so quick to judge, lend a helping hand."

I know people(?) distort Him into some sort of hippy dippy figure and what not. But when you really look within, isn't His message obviously true? Do we not feel the deepest sense of joy and satisfaction through real and meaningfully cultivated love? If it weren't true, then all of the modern BS would make people happy and satisfied. But it doesn't.

“On the third day the friends of Christ coming at daybreak to the place found the grave empty and the stone rolled away. In varying ways they realised the new wonder; but even they hardly realised that the world had died in the night. What they were looking at was the first day of a new creation, with a new heaven and a new earth; and in a semblance of the gardener God walked again in the garden, in the cool not of the evening but the dawn."

- Chesterton
