4-7 oranges = 1 glass juice. 4-7 truck loads of limes would provide you 1 glass lime juice

no, it's not more affordable. i fresh squeeze small servings of orange juice every few weeks. (don't like drinking sugary beverages regularly.)
to get 16 oz (four 4 oz servings) takes about eight oranges. it's common to spend $8 on juicy, good quality oranges. you could get by with spending $5 on crappier oranges but it doesn't taste as good.
a carton of tropicana or florida's natural will be cheaper but as is now well-known, that shit is fake juice, manufactured at industrial scale and flavored with packets to get consistent taste.

8 oranges = 560 calories. but that counts eating the orange, not just the juice. the pulp that remains behind contains some calories. so it's really less, maybe 500 calories
also, note that i'm using 8 oranges to make 4 servings. so each person is drinking 2 oranges worth of juice
