Math does "solve" it in the sense that, mathematically, you can deduce that an infinite series of points in time gets you to a finite result. But that could reflect a failure of mathematics. It's not proof of anything since mathematics is all symbolic.

Many physicists still think Aristotle was right. If time is like like a series of cells in a movie film roll, how can an arrow move between cells? How can you have motion without a mover?

The arrow paradox is only problematic if you assume that time is equal to the sum of an infinite number of indivisible points, which is what Zeno was attempting to refute. We know from Cantor diagonalization that a continuous collection of points can't be ordered, therefore Zeno's hypothesis is false.

It's less a 'paradox' about motion than the concept of infinity generally. Consider: every rod has infinite length because it can be regarded as the infinite sum of increasingly small pieces! In either case, the conclusion proven by contradiction is that infinity doesn't exist or, at least, is useless as an explanatory concept for everyday reasoning. Oh, and notice that the 'solution' to the 'paradox' requires nothing like 'calculus' or anything fancy.

In other news and words, the 'great thinkers' of the past were actual retards by today's standards and are of limited and overrated utility.

Here's my solution: time is like those iPhone "live photos" where there a little bit of motion in the photo. It's fallacious to assume there's no motion occurring within discreet units of time because we have no evidence of it and it creates a "paradox" to think of it that way
