But the more I look at the world the more I realize that Islam was definitely cr in many circumstances, is right about a lot of things, and definitely makes its practitioners better people. That Islam is largely a target for extinction by the powers that be- we know who they are- just proves my point. |

Are there bad Christians in the world? Detractors of Islam want you to view Islam through the lens of the bad Muslims because it serves their nefarious purposes.
But there are some unquestionably good things about Islam:
- Like Christianity, we believe in submission to the will of God. This offers a sense of structure, purpose and inner peace to believers.
- A focus on daily prayer and worship. To the outsider this looks like mere rituals but to the believer they are a source of grounding.
- Strong sense of community - prayers are communal, Ramadan, Hajj, etc., all strengthen the bonds Muslims have with each other.
- Focus on charity, one of the five pillars of Islam is charity and we are required to give a certain amount to charity every year
- Respect for family and elders. Modesty in women. Prohibition of known corrupters like alcohol and gambling and giving or receiving interest.
