End result is no widely shared belief or trust or confidence in institutions and organizations. Lack of competence reflects this because people no longer govern for the people or run things for the people, but for their own particular tribe, which only exacerbates the divide.
And with a growing loss of confidence even in basic shared societal institutions, people no longer put forward their best for society. |
